Social worker Christine (Rakie Ayola, Anthony) lives at the heart of a small town on the coast of South Wales, with her adult children Will (Lloyd Everitt, The Deceived, Casualty), Megan (Mali Ann Rees, Hidden, Keeping Faith), and Jamie (Aaron Anthony, Behind her Eyes, Emmerdale). On the surface they appear to be a tight-knit unit within the community, but simmering beneath the surface is a family fractured by unspeakable tragedy.

But everything changes when a mysterious stranger named Connor (Jordan Wilks, Make Me Famous) suddenly appears, claiming to be the fourth, previously unknown, Rees sibling.

The spitting image of the Rees’ recently deceased brother Liam, Connor embroils himself into the lives of his so-called siblings. Fiercely protective Christine is deeply shaken by Connor’s appearance, convinced that he is a threat to her beloved family. But it becomes clear that Christine is hiding a dark secret of her own, and there is no telling the lengths she’ll go to keep it. Her friend and colleague Beth (Lisa Palfrey, Sex Education, COBRA), becoming increasingly concerned for Christine’s wellbeing, begins to hunt for the truth – unaware of the dangerous secrets she risks uncovering…

Who is Connor Moran? And what exactly does he want?
